On March 25, 2024, the financial sector reported that, according to the announcement of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, JWJOULWATT Microelectronics Co., Ltd. has obtained a project entitled "Current detection circuit, control chip and switching power supply", with the authorization announcement number of CN114188920B, and the application date of September 2021.



The patent abstract shows that a current detection circuit, a control chip, and a switching power supply are disclosed. The main switch tube of the switching power supply is connected to an inductor, and an auxiliary voltage is obtained on the auxiliary winding by setting an auxiliary winding that is mutually inductance with the inductor, providing a first current positively correlated with the auxiliary voltage. The first current charges the capacitor to obtain a capacitor voltage that characterizes the inductor current. Among them, the auxiliary winding and inductor mutual inductance are used for sampling, without the need for sampling resistance, which reduces the loss of the switching power supply and improves the power efficiency of the switching power supply.
