On March 22, 2024, the financial sector reported that, according to the announcement of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd. applied for a patent entitled "charging method, charging device, terminal equipment, adapter and storage medium", with the publication number of CN117748631A and the application date of September 2022.


The patent abstract shows that the present disclosure relates to the field of charging, particularly to a charging method, charging device, terminal device, adapter, and storage medium. The charging method includes: determining whether the adapter has the charging ability to provide a target charging power, which is greater than the default charging power provided by the adapter; In response to determining that the adapter has the charging capability to provide the target charging power, a first demand current command is sent to the adapter to indicate the current demand current in the first bit number, so that the adapter charges the terminal device according to the first demand current command.
